Hello Everyone!
Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, Emergency Responders Credit Union will be having our 2019 Annual Meeting virtually. This was a decision your board did not take lightly.
The 2019 Emergency Responders Credit Union Virtual Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 6:00pm.
There are 3 seats open on our Board of Directors. You may vote for only THREE (3) candidates. We will be accepting phone/in person voting for the new directors beginning August 12th thru August 20th until 5:30pm. During the meeting, you will have the availability to vote for the new directors if you wish to wait until then. You may only vote one (1) time.
The following members will be running for a 3-year seat for the Board of Directors: Christopher Belcher, Kelly Emerson, J. Scott Gauldin, Chad Lankford, and Kimberly Reynolds. Each of their bios are posted here.
You can also find the Agenda, President’s Report, Balance Sheet, Annual Meeting Minutes & Organizational Minutes here. These will be available as well for review on August 20, 2020 during the virtual meeting.
The instructions to join this meeting will be as follows:
Go to the following website: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/544131437, or you can join via smartphone/tablet by downloading the free GoToMeeting App in your app/play store, and entering the following access code: 544131437. If you wish to have a copy of the documents, please contact the credit union office at 336-723-0619 before August 12th so they can be mailed to you. Should you need any assistance, please call prior to August 20th.
We ask that all phones/computers are muted. There will be times voting will be necessary. During this time you may unmute your device if you wish to make a motion or second one.
Again, this was a very hard decision to make. I commend the Board of Directors for exploring every avenue possible without having to go this route. Yet, for the protection of our members, it is one that had to be made.
We hope you will join us.
Respectfully,
Janita D. Rickett, CEO
